Cameron and Peter are no longer in Europe, oh no… they are now in Tangier, Morocco, Africa and they have successfully completed Hitch 2012!
Look forward to seeing them in a weeks time (a well deserved holiday in Morocco first) for stories, pictures and even a video blog.
Congratulations from all at Diagknows.
The boys are one or two hitches and a ferry from their target. Will this be the last update before they make it to Morocco?
The boys have made it to Manzanares and are walking to Algeciras for better hitching opportunities. Every step a little further South!
The guys have made it to Madrid after a long hitch with a family that put them up for the night, gave them dinner and wine, took them to meet their extended family and an impromptu tour of Tudela! At the bottom of the map you can see a capital M too…
Cameron and Peter are close to Spain now but camping in the snow has dampened the mood! Let’s hope the weather improves significantly over the border.
Now Cameron has started texting me in French I can be less specific about how well they are doing! But they are on their way to Bordeaux, this much we do know.
That’s the UK leg done.
The boys even got some of their ferry paid for which is great news 🙂
Bon voyage lads!
So the guys have made it to Englandshire, struggling a little bit understanding Geordie truckers but hope to be hitching further South soon. Cameron reports 5 hours sleep, which is loads for a Medic student!
Diagknows had a great time sending Cameron and Peter off before their Hitch Hike to Morocco. They leave on Friday morning (6th April) and our hitch hikers will not have internet access during the hitch, but they will send in a text every day which shows where they are.
And then enter 119 into the group number box and it should show up where they are.
